My #FindingDory #Makeup and #Manicure Looks Featuring #OPI, #Maybelline, #ChloeandIsabel and More

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

Over this weekend, Disney/Pixar has released the highly anticipated sequel to "Finding Nemo" called "Finding Dory" which features both old and new favorite characters! I decided to channel my inner "Dory" inspired makeup and nail looks based on Dory's fish colors and happy outlook on life using the shades of makeup and nail polish on hand as read my post below!! I personally can't wait to see this family film with my son as soon as my ride is fixed!!

I have these two mini OPI polishes on hand in my current nail polish collection one which is lemon yellow shade (sorry that I don't know the EXACT shade...I got it in a fishbowl stand at the grocery store!) and another is tinted yellow top coat!! I did 2x coats of the yellow nail polish for both my nails on my hands & toes then used tinted top coat to complete my cheery yellow manicure & pedicure that Dory will be amazed & approved!!

I love my bright yellow manicure & pedicure which reminds me to keep a positive attitude in life and "just keep swimming"!!

Pur Hydrafluid Water Serum Foundation  in "Medium"

Using the colors of Dory as a guide, here is my inspired eye makeup look while I kept my face neutral colors so people noticed my eye look!

Support My #GoFundMe for #Car for #MedicalAppointments and #CareerSearch

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

This is my car, 1998 Ford Taurus, which was given to me for $1 from a church friend until I get that interview for position after graduating from my local college in 2011!! Now its has been sitting in front of my mother's house for going on near TWO MONTHS!! Between postponing and rescheduling my medical, career, and other necessary appointments, I realized that my car is dying and deciding to give a crowdfunding a try!!

 (Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

Right now, I have sign up with Go Fund Me, in which is a personal crowdfunding website to ask millions of people to realized a person's need like me to get a new vehicle for medical and career search purposes!! Since my car has a long list of items that needs replacing, it will be really difficult to ask not only one or few people to raise the funds for the cost of replacing my car with a new "used" car but if at least 20,000 people like you donate $1 or $5 toward the car's purchase, proper amount of insurance for one year, and taxes/license fees then it will not be too much of a burden and I will forever be grateful for your belief in me to help me in my time of need!

Please donate right now here at this Go Fund Me link below:

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

List of necessary features for my new "used" car includes:

NO Horsepower (It is doesn't have enough power when need in 60 or more mph and dangerous to use on the Interstate plus can't handle daily commutes)

Brakes needs replacing soon

Poor Air Conditioning system in the Summer time (myself and my son both take 5 or more medicines daily and can't take summer heat or humidity)

Poor Heating system in the Fall/Winter (we had the radiator flushed several times and used heat coil replace but low or lukewarm heat plus 20 minutes for the glass to thaw!)

No basic alarm system

Bad locking system for doors and windows

Front and Back tires needs replacing

No interior lights for safety and night driving

Busted passenger side glass window (which I used clear tape and cardboard to cover the hole)

Aging gas meter

Poor exterior driving lights (high beams act as regular beams on the highway)

Not Gasoline efficient in city nor highway (I have to make weekly gas tank fill up for an older engine)

No latest  or update safety features as today's family cars

Please donate now at my Go Fund Me page below:

I used my car for these purposes only:

Medical Appointments to University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, and Centra Family Medical Center for my continue treatment against Crohn's Disease and other medical related conditions.

Career search via Career Counselors at local Virginia Department resources and at my local college, Lynchburg College

Taking care of my child who lives with Autism to his necessary appointments in town for his medical and therapy appointments

Parent/child appointments at my son's local middle school and community services resources

Weekly church attendance including my son's specialized Sunday School classes

Weekly errands like going to the grocery store and necessary trips

These are the last several car repairs in  keeping my aging car alive since 2011 which has taken a lot out of my month $600 month check, leaving little for other living expenses or going without certain needs!

#NailsInc Polish Featuring the Power of #Kale and #Westbourneparkroad #Nudenails

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I love trying bright or different nail polish colors for my Summer manicures and pedicures, but I love knowing that I have a really good nude polish to complement my skintone as well as my nails with the power of kale for my nail health!  I currently own these two Nailsinc Nailkale polish and base coat which I got several months ago from Birchbox and recently did a Summer nude inspired manicure and pedicure!! Even my Mom loved this duo on her pedicure and love how her toes looked, which is lot of praise for my Mom is "beauty minimalist" !
(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

Personally, I can best described Nailsinc Nalekale polish in "Westbourne Park Road" as cool tone taupe/lavender coloring which actually looks good on my medium/tan skin tone!! After using the kale infused base coat, I applied this polish 2x on my nails for my manicure and pedicure for the desired color and glossy effect! I know that I can use this nail color all year round for when I want a "nude nails" polish and to complete my beauty and/or fashion that requires nude nails!!

Until next time...

#Birchbox June 2016 UnBoxing and Review Featuring Curated Box #MultifacetedandMighty

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

Finally received my June Birchbox on a low 90 day and lucky none of my items melted and immediately love how they addressed me as "The Clever Ursula Ball" which I am glad because I rarely referred as "smart" versus pretty or funny!! Thank you, Birchbox, for making a lady with a learning disability feel beautiful on the inside! I wanted this featured curator box because of the diamond design and the luxe items that are multipurpose as well for my Summer beauty routine!! Let's get started into my box review!!

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

This curated box includes:

LOC  One & Done Shadow Stick (Full-size, $10)

NUXE Reve de Miel Facial Cleansing and Makeup-Up Removing Gel (Full-size, $19)

The Beauty Crop PBJ Smoothie Stick-Raisin the Roof (Full-size, $14.95)

Air Repair Complexion Boosting Moisturizer (Full-size, $21)

Davines Authentic Cleansing Nectar Hair/Body (Full-size, $28.50)

Davines Authentic Moisturizing Balm Face/Hair/Body (Full-size, $26.50)

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I tried a pea-sized amount of NUXE Reve de Miel Facial Cleansing and Makeup-Up Removing Gel on my face with no makeup to see how well it cleanse dirt and dead skin after a summer day!! I enjoyed the smell of this French cleanser, mild amount of suds on my face, and effectively cleansed my facial skin without leaving a harsh, dried out feeling on my face!! I also used a small amount to wipe away the makeup swatches on my hand of testing out the lipstick and eye shadow for effectiveness against makeup!! The gel instantly removed the PBJ lipstick but I had to use a little more scrubbing action to remove the LOC waterproof shadow! My face does feel fresh and soft so far I love this NUXE facial cleanser and know to use this makeup remover on non-water proof makeup!

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

After cleansing my face for the evening, I applied a pea-sized amount of Air Repair Complexion Boosting Moisturizer since I face drys out under air conditioner at night! I liked that it has Hyaluronic Acid to help retained moisturize in my dry skin areas of my face and neck and will see the results in the morning how well my face is moisturized! This brand says it can be used both day and night as well as a face mask!! I will keep you updated on my results!

UPDATE: I have tried a generous pea-sized amount on my face for my nighttime routine and woke with my face feeling "dry" as if this moisturizer doesn't have any emollients/healthy skin oils at all! I think this works great for ladies who have normal/oily skin types but not for ladies like me who have dry/extra dry skin types! I will use this up since it has Hyaluronic acid which is beneficial to my skin!

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I can't wait to washed my new growth/relaxed wavy hair with Davines Authentic Cleansing Nectar Hair/Body in which I love the fragrance with is a WIN plus I want to know how effective it is in cleansing my hair and body which I have dry scalp/dry ends and dry skin issues!

UPDATE: I love the gentle low suds and fragrance of this shampoo which rinsed cleaned out of my long, wavy hair without drying out my scalp and ends!!

 (Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I am glad that Birchbox included this Davines Authentic Moisturizing Balm Face/Hair/Body to go with the following Davines Hair/Body Wash BUT I need one more packet for my long, wavy hair!! I will keep you posted of this results for my hair!!

UPDATE: After shampooing, I used this small packet into my hair and opened another Davines LOVE conditioner to applied to my scalp and ends, then covered for 20 minutes in a plastic cap, and then rinsed!! My hair felt softer and easier to detangle and after I blow dried straight my hair felt conditioned without being weighed down which I don't want during the summer! This is how my hair looked after shampoo and style below:
 (Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

 (Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I am loving this shade of  rich, shimmer brown called "Haute Cocoa" by LOC  One & Done Shadow Stick and will update with my eye shadow look using this shade!

 (Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

Although I don't like PBJ sandwiches (YUCK!!!), I do love this light mauve pink shade of The Beauty Crop PBJ Smoothie Stick in "Raisin the Roof" plus it has almond oil for my dry lips!! I will keep you posted for my lipstick makeup look using this shade!

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I did a makeup swatch of both the LOC eye shadow (brown shade) and the mauve-pink shade of the PBJ Smoothie Stick to see how it will look on my medium/tan skin tone which I am already loving the shades! I also tested out these makeup shades for removing using the above NUXE Cleansing gel/makeup remover (read above for the results)!! I can't wait to create my Summer makeup look with these makeup products!

UPDATE: Here is my makeup look using the LOC eyeshadow, which can really see on my eyes, and barely see the PBJ lipstick shade on my lips! I am satisfied for my sample makeup day look after finishing my hair!

  (Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

 (Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

As of right now I am pretty happy and satisfied with my June curated "Multifaceted and Mighty" Birchbox with all of my  six samples that I have sampled and more to test out the rest of this month for my Summer beauty routine!! I will update this post concerning of my makeup looks and hair review of the shampoo and conditioning balm!

Until next time...

#ManiMonday #JuneEmpty of #OPI Polish Venice Collection Fall/Winter 2015 in #AmoreontheGrandCanal

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I have received this shade via in my monthly Birchbox subscription last year and now I have finished this mini size "Amore on the Grand Canal" which is a rich shade of red this week for my mani and pedi in June!! I like getting small bottles of red polish because I know how often I used this on my nails through out the year!! I won't be buying this shade again until towards the end of September when I transition to richer, deep shades for my nails!!

Summer Beauty Makeup Look Featuring #Disney and #Purminerals #Cinderella Palette

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

With a break in summer heat and humid temperatures, I decided to tap into my inner Disney Princess which Cinderella for my summer beauty makeup look! I received and posted early this year about how I received this exclusive Kohl's and Purmineral Disney Cinderella makeup palette ($29 US)  inspired by the live-action movie starring Lily James as the heroine herself! I also had won a Purmineral Hydrafluid foundation, a light-weight foundation, and setting spray to help with my look!! Check out below on my final makeup look and my steps to create this makeup look!

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

This my final makeup look using my Purmineral makeup palette, foundation, setting spray and other beauty products!! I love the look and feel of my makeup application!

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I got this Pur Miracle Mist hydrating and setting spray several months ago at my local Kohl's department store and has a refreshing scent while hydrating my skin before applying the foundation below and used again to set my makeup look!

 (Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I enjoyed using this PUR Hydrafluid Water Serum Foundation in "Tan" which is a hydrating and light-weight formula for my dry skin during the summer time!!

 (Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I love the details of this Disney makeup palette which made me feel like Cinderella being transformed for her special look!! I decided to use Dazzle all over my eye lids and use Etheral and Breathless on the lower lids which are all purple shades in this eye shadow palette! I chose the pretty pink lipstick shade in Fantasy with the enclosed lip/eye shadow brush in which I use the Q-tip to apply on my lips!

 (Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

After my eye shadow look, I decided to use the blush shade in Dream which is a warm, bright pink that will look great on my medium/tan skin tone!

 (Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I used a little of Illusion on my top check bones to highlight my checks and then used Disguise as face powder to set my makeup look!

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I used Cargo Cosmetics Texaslash mascara for my eye lashes and used a Ecotools blush brush and an unknown eye shadow brush to apply the eye shadow colors!!

I will experiment with the rest of the colors in my makeup palette throughout the summer because I do enjoy using these pretty shades!

Until next time...

#LifewithNathan #TGIFridays #BonlessChickenBites Review

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

During my shopping trip at Kroger's, I discovered this deal (clearance $2.59!!!)  in the frozen foods section from TGIFridays for their Boneless Chicken Bites Honey BBQ which would make a fun weekend lunch option especially with my growing young teen son! Read below on my son's and mine final verdict of this product!!

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I am not ashamed to say as a single mom that is how I roll in the grocery stores when I see a good sale or clearance deal!!

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

As soon as I finished cooking these chicken bites, I poured the sauce over them and lightly coated them! And yes, I should have done it in a bowl BUT I warmed the stone cold BBQ sauce in a cup of hot water FIRST!!
 (Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

Lunch is served!!

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

This is my son giving the final approval of what he thinks of his Honey BBQ chicken bites along with french fries!! I liked the texture and taste of these chicken bites but I noticed the amount of puffy air coating and amount of meat which is almost 50/50 so I recommend to get them on sale instead of paying full price to get them as a fun meal treat or apps for next family or friend gathering!!

Until next time...
