#TargetBeautyBox #HelloBeautiful Spring Box

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I am extremely LUCKY to get hold of the Target Beauty Box before it got SOLD OUT and especially since is my first experience with trying this box ($5 box worth of $38 value) and review it for you viewers!! I love Target and its experience it offers to its loyal customers and now to try out an Target Beauty Box for Spring!!!

Inside the black shiny box and red wrapping comes a card describing the products PLUS coupons for shopping in store and online for beauty products and Dermstore, which is similar to Sephora. Since I saw the preview before ordering my Target Beauty Box, I already know the samples that I was going to receive in the box!

What is in my Target Beauty Box for Spring? Here is the description below:

Maybelline Color Elixir by Color Sensational Lip Color (Full Size)

L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Spray & Set

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream

TRESemme TRES Two Extra Hold Hairspray

Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex 10-in-1 Renewal System Shampoo

I had to admitt that I tried out the Maybelline Lip Color immediately since I love PINK lip shades!! I applied to my lips and love the feel of this lip gloss without being too greasy nor sticky but perfect for my dry lips!! I can wear this alone or apply on top of my favorite lipstick for extra shine factor!!! Below is the photo of the shade in case you want to shop and try right now from Target!!

Next sample that I have always wanted to try ever since I saw Kerry Washington advertising it was the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream!! I tried a little on my face and felt moisturized instantly and lasted until bed time!! Before I went to church, I used it again on freshly washed face and then applied my makeup!! The moisturizer lasted ALL DAY long until my bedtime!! And my skin is dry "365 Days" but I tend to use a lighter formula for those sweaty hot days of summer!! A must have if you have dry skin issues!!

Next, I will admitt this is my first time ever using makeup setting spray which I tried out L'Oreal Paris Infallible Set & Spray! This evening, I used this spray to set my makeup (including Maybelline and Neurtrogena samples)!!  And it didn't budged when my wonderful, sensory-seeking son gently touched my face!! My son lives with Autism and when he is really lovable, do you really want to worry about your makeup smudging at a precious moment like that!! Yes, this Autism Mom loves makeup but love her son more!! Highly recommend this product!!

I also tried this product this evening which is TRESamme Hair Spray!! I did a volume style with my relaxed African-American hair which looked really good in the mirror!! But by the end of this beautiful, spring evening, including having the windows down in the car, my opened hair style pretty much behaved it has never been sprayed at all!! I am sorry to report this brand failed to hold my hair style throughout the evening!! My hair was touchable and was not stiff but still didn't hold my style!!

Finally, I have not tried this SheaMoisture shampoo yet but I did smelled it which was AMAZING!! I usually follow a hair care regimen of shampooing my hair "twice a week" to care for my relaxed hair and dry ends & scalp! As soon as I shampoo my hair I will post it later for you to read!!

Except for the TRESemme Hair Spray being a sample "Fail" and not being able to give honest review on the Shea Moisture Shampoo, I will this box for NOW "3 out of 5" rating since I enjoyed three products out of the five of the Target Beauty box!  Please share on my blog what you think of this Target Beauty Box Spring review and your experience if you purchased this box as well!

    1. After seeing several posts, if you have lighter skin its a shiny pink lipstick, for medium to darker skin tones it looks like a sheer, shiny pink gloss!
