Birchbox October Review: Estee Lauder Game Face Curated Box!!

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

I have just finished checking out my October Curated Birchbox called "Game Face" by The Estee Lauder Companies' Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Wow, that's a mouth full right there!!  Now, most of these items I have already tried before BUT I selected this curated box because I like these type of deluxe goodies esp from Estee Lauder, supports Breast Cancer Research, and its PINK!!! So more about my box!

First I tried was the Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash (Full-size, $23) which felt great on my face which is prone to dry skin problems esp going into Fall season! Next I tried out Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Creme (Full-size, $50) which felt wonderful on my cleansed skin plus this deluxe sample I will definitely see results for next 2 weeks against signs of aging in my 35 yr old facial skin! Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion (Full-size, $26) is a classic goodies ever since I tried it out as a teenager on my face next and still leaves my face moisturized very well, too! I love the Smashbox  Photo Finish Foundation Primer ( Full-size, $36) because the camera never lies about the face when you take pictures!! I love how its light weight under my skin after moisturizing and makeup plus minimizes the shine factor, too!! And last, I have received and tried this Prescriptives False Eyelashes Plush Mascara ((Full-size, $23) which provided my dark lashes with moisturizing ingredients and volume! Hopefully my doctor will give me the "Green Light" after getting this staph eye infection after being eye allergies in September (no fun at all ladies and gents!).

Over all, I give this box a rating of "5 out of  5" because I love everything in this box regardless these are my old favorites from the Estee Lauder Company products!

  2. I almost got this one as my second box (Power Pose was my first). I like collecting the guest editor box and one from the month, but I will make exceptions.

    1. Thank you Kimberly for checking out this review and if you read my past months I actually took a "break" from curated/Guest Editor boxes in September in which I wanted to try the Davines LOVE Smoothing Shampoo/Conditioner! I was happy with everything in my Sept BB box but now is back to curated boxes so I am glad that I love everything in my Game Face box!

  5. I think it's so great that this box is being used as funding for breast cancer research. If there's anything I love more than a good box, it's a good box for a good cause.

    Have a lovely weekend, Ursula!

  6. What a great box of deluxe goodies! I got some freebies last year from EL's PR to promote for Breast Cancer Awareness but didn't hear from them this year. I hope your staph infection goes away soon - that's nothing to trifle with! - but I will be curious to read your review of the Prescriptives Mascara. I used to use Prescriptives a long time ago, glad they've revived it

    1. I hope Birchbox takes notes how wildly popular both curated boxes from Estee Lauder for next October or special occasions (like Valentines/Mothers Day/Wedding). I just waiting to use mascara on my eyes again!
