Target Beauty Box Featuring L'Oreal Paris

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

Yesterday, I received my Target Beauty Box in the mail and immediately started trying out all the products except one mascara (more on that later)!!  I had to office volunteer work and Open House event so I gather all the items that I will use the following morning!! Here is a BEFORE picture before using L'Oreal Advanced Haircare Ultimate Straight on my relaxed hair (see picture below):

Here is the night before I use these products on my relaxed hair in the shower!

And here is the back side of this trio pack of L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Ultimate Straight !

So here are the contents of my Target Beauty Box below:

L'Oreal Paris Volumminous Mascara
(I love its Blackest Black but I got one more week for my eye infection to clear up before using makeup again!!)
L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Total Repair 5 Shampoo
(Love the travel size shampoo in which I will save for later use, prefer to also give at least foil pack of conditioner since its a system)
L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray
(A classic hairspray that of celebs and stylists enjoyed using in my hair plus travel size for my purse!)

L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Night Cream
(I received a card tester not a cream but found out that I don't need this cream yet based on the dry skin circle test)
L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Volume Filler
(After the shampoo in the shower, I used both the serum and cream on my face and neck areas which felt instantly hydrated!)

L'Oreal Paris True Match Shade Strips
(OK, another test card just like with Age Perfect with a coupon...I love coupons but I felt a little cheated some how sample wise)

L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Ultimate Straight
(I used the trio in the shower according to directions but I did not have straightener balm sample to experience the full straightening benefits so I used a leave-in spray and blow my hair out straight! I am was happy with the results in my relaxed hair! See my final hair pictures below!)

Here is my finished hair style which I set with Satin Hair spray which does have a strong alcohol scent so please use in well vented room and away from heat/flame!! My hair style hold and when it came time to brush it did without white residue or tough resistance!!

Except for a few things, I love my Target Beauty Box featuring L'Oreal products!! I can't wait to try the next Target Beauty Box esp with the Holidays coming up!! Plus, Target Beauty gave me $5 coupon towards skin, hair or beauty product to use next month!

Did you received a Target Beauty Box and what are your thoughts on it?

Until next time...

XOXO

  1. I have been trying at least 7 months to get a hold of one of the Target boxes. The mascara featured in this box is one of my staple drug store mascaras. It looks like you got some great samples in your box.

    1. Thank you so much! I love Target Beauty, or any beauty box, that I can do skin, makeup, and hair with just this kit alone! Plus, I hope I helped folks that have dry skin or relaxed hair like myself to see that L'Oreal does cater to diverse beauty!

  3. Oh, I didn't know about this L'Oreal box from Target, but glad you got it! My favorite drugstore mascara is Voluminous Butterfly but the Intenza version with the easier to use wand, but both have a great formula. I'd like to try the new filler. Looks interesting to me for my crow's feet (that you don't have Miss Ursula!). Your hair looks great!

    1. Thank you Allison! I although I have thank my mom and female relatives for the "youth genes" , I believe in preventative care so my crows feet become more like laugh crinkles instead! I think being in college starting at 19 cause more worry wrinkles and that is when I got started with anti-aging products!
As for my hair, I try to be as accurate as possible of what I used and how I styled to get those results so other ladies can judge for themselves if this product can work for them or not!! Can't wait for my next Target box!

    1. This is true, Elaine! I had to skip one of the Target Beauty Boxes cause it catered mostly to natural/curly African American hair types!! Sometimes companies have a hard time for coming up with a happy balance of products that most women can be happy with!!

  5. Ohhh... there looks like there are a lot of goodies in there. I used to love that hairspray when it first came out. It was the only ones that would hold my super thick hair.

    1. Thank you, Rowena! I love knowing that this L'Oreal Straightening shampoo/conditioner did a great job on my hair! I still used a non-L'0real heat protector before blow drying but I wish they put a sample package of the straightening balm as mentioned on the other packets!
