Life with Nathan: Finish London/Big Ben Puzzle!!!

 (Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

A while back I have mentioned how my son, Nathan, expressed interest and initiative to work on more "grown up" 100 piece puzzle featuring a scene from London of Big Ben near a bridge over the river!! Small recap, Nathan is living with serve Autism and is nonverbal but now at 11 years old my son is showing a lot of his creative side in the form of arts and crafts!!

I can say that Nathan finished the puzzle with a minimal assistance from me , aka Mom, but here is the funny part! Despite encouraging or suggesting Nathan how to work on this puzzle, he will keep taking my puzzle piece away, compared the piece, then tried it on the board!! What turned to out to be family time became "Nathan time" and slowly whatever attempts I offered in assistance slowly became turned down by the few words that he can accurately say which is "No" and insist to work out the pieces on his terms!  At least he let me help with establishing the corner/exterior pieces and then start working on the interior pieces of the puzzle!

Below is the final result of the puzzle based on the picture on the box!  Now I need to find a new puzzle for mostly Nathan to work on!!
