#ManiMonday Polishes: Lockdown Edition

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

Over the coursed of 2 years, I have accumulated, used, and tossed nail polishes so here is my current inventory towards the end of December 2015 below:

OPI nail polishes and nail treatments

Sally Hansen nail polishes

CoverGirl Nail Polish

Morgan Taylor Cinderella nail polishes

Deborah Lippman nail polishes

Nailsinc nail polishes

KISS Nail art and treatments

I love OPI nail drying sprays and drops which I got for less than $2 each at the clearance sections of JC Penny and Krogers Supermarket. Because who has time to wait all day long for their nails to dry?

I know that I needed nail art to help create unique nail styles with my current polish collection! I got several of these KISS nail products at Walgreens clearance for less than $2 each!! From classic to modern, conservative to out of this world, I can make infinite nail designs thanks to KISS !!

I was running out of room in the above photo of all my polishes so here are two polishes that are from NailsInc from the "Lovely Day" LE Birchbox set which are both great for the nude nail look!

So I decided except for a few exceptions to put myself on "Lockdown" on purchasing additional nail polishes until the end of January 2016!!

Do you have Lockdown Edition on your current nail polish collection until its deplenished?

Until next time...

  1. You have a great collection of nail polishes and mani products. I've always wondered if those drying sprays work and they must if you keep buying them. I only have a handful of nail polishes cause I never can find the time to do my nails.

    1. If used properly and held away from 10 inches, then sprays like OPI works well for me!

    1. I am a Mom and have health issues so I don't have hours to wait for nails to dry. I mostly do mine at night, sprayed nails, & sleep with my hands raised on pillows at night!

  3. I'm currently in the process of trying to train my nails and thicken them so I can actually use all of my polish and extras I've acquired. I love pretty mani's but hate fake nails, but mine own never seem to be even lol!

    1. OPI Nail Envy is what I used for my nails for years before adding polish! What nail treatment brand do you use to help strengthen your nails, if I may ask?

I am planning to try a few press on nails by KISS!

  4. I'm with you, Ursula, no more nail polish purchases. I have so many polishes that I have never even opened. It's ridiculous. I bought a beautiful apothecary jar to store them in, but I've outgrown it. I'm impressed by all the bargains you got, especially the drying sprays and drops. Great job

    1. I have tried a few generic brands but they are never quite the same with drops and sprays!! I can really focus and be creative with my current colors esp a few that will expire after 2 yrs!!

At least I can start up again in February for my birthday and Spring polishes!

  6. I hate nail polish, which is weird because I work at a nail spa lol. The one I will always wear is Deborah Lippmann. AMAZING stuff! I also really like Treat, they're natural. It's really long lasting. I love OPI for shellac, but my nails are wretched and it never seems to last long.

  9. I agree, I don't have the patience to wait for my nails to dry so I try to find the next best thing for fast drying top coats. I'm curious about the spray you bought, I may need to pay a trip to my local JC Penny to see if I can find some. Great nail polish picks by the way. xo Brigette

  10. I agree to have a lockdown on nail polish until maybe till Spring. I just hauled a few nail polishes for this year. Then my nails will go for hibernation until Spring. Very nice color collection you have. Thanks for sharing, Ursula!

  11. I love nail polishes, but I don't do such a great job of polishing. I guess I should get some of that drying spray. Do you think JC Penny still has some for $2? LOL... Late to the party again.
