#ChristmasInJuly Day 8: #ChristmasFeast #SouthernStyle

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

For Day 8 of my "Christmas In July" blog theme post, let me tell you about Christmas Dinner decided and prepared by the Head Chef of my family....Mom!! Although all seven of us kids are now 20 something and 30 something adults, we all anticipated the wonderful brown sugared glazed ham, homemade mac and cheese, green bean casserole, and rolls for our Christmas dinner plus tasty appetizers throughout the day!! Even our friends stop by because they know our Mom cooks homemade dishes with love and care!! And now my son can eat as many deviled eggs as his uncles and male friends plus also helps out setting the table to watching my mom, his grandma cooked!!  Most of the recipes are in my Mom's head while she gets inspiration from her Southern Living Cookbook, like this one that we found at local book sale at our library and have been among Mom's cookbooks eversince!! Those Christmas dinners were noisy and loud after say our blessings and we all become fat and satified after a wonderful feast!!

Until next time....
