Enjoying #Italian Favorites for the Fall Featuring #Pasta #SurfandTurf and #Chicken Dishes

(Source: Blueridge Beauty Blogger)

In my family, we love Italian food, or at least Italian American style, food dishes which is inexpensive and tasty, and plenty of seconding helpings!! For instance, my son and I had this pasta, shrimp scampi, steamed green beans, and garlic bread!! But unlike takeout, my pasta has lots of finely chopped veggies in the red tomato sauce based, usage of olive oil and herbs, and whole grain pasta!! The shrimp was a frozen brand steal for under $4 and the Italian sausage in the pasta for under $2 !!! I am pretty good budget home cook that loves good taste!!

I can't pronouce the name of this cheese but found it for under $2 in the cheese dept with the small cheese wedges and rinds for quick sale! Cheese makes a pasta dish complete! :)

My ultimate, homemade penne pasta dish has lots of finely chopped veggies in the red tomato sauce based, usage of olive oil and herbs, whole grain pasta, and Italian sausage with melted Italian cheese on top!!

This roasted chicken uses fresh rosemary from my Mom's garden and olive oil to help flavor it in the oven!!

A few weekends ago, I treated the family to an Italian style "Surf and Turf" with Italian seasoned Angus and Organic Steaks, Parmesan Garlic Shrimp, and a wonderful salad! My Mom and son loved the entire meal which offered a taste of seafood and steak on a budget!!
