During the week leading to Thanksgiving Weekend, I stopped by the local The Fresh Market to admire the beautiful Fall floral consolidated in one area despite the growing Winter/Christmas theme floral arrangements!! I am thankful for admiring God's beauty in the form of getting my "flower power" by stopping to look and smell these lovely flowers!!

As an alumnae (or alumni), I am forever grateful for my academic experiences at Lynchburg College and continuing to connect with the staff, professors, and fellow classmates!! And I am thank for also...

My local college library with staff and fellow guests discussing about the upcoming holidays and favorite books or media sources!! I am thankful for finding these modern children's books about the First Thanksgiving especially how young Natives and Pilgrim children lived which my son actively love the stories and beautiful illustrations!

I am thankful for my son, Nathan, who has loving, funny, and adventurous personality in the midst of growing up as a young teenager living with Autism and blessed with family and friends in our community that help support and include him in so many daily aspects at home, school, and church!

I am also thankful for the last few weeks of successfully walking the neighborhood together as part of family time and enjoying the outdoors plus the friendly people and their pets, too!!

And I am also grate for my son being an adventurous eater (probably due to being a growing boy and hormones) and loves to cook in the kitchen!! He enjoyed the health appetizer platter with fresh fresh slices, cheese, carrots, and roasted bell pepper hummus while waiting for turkey!!

What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving and Christmas/Holiday Season? Each day is a GIFT so make it count by counting your Blessings which will soon outweigh the negatives in your life!

Until next time....

  1. It is wonderful to stop and count our blessings at Thanksgiving or any time of year. I'm glad your son is doing well. Love your flower pix too
