Now that the days are becoming warmer, I am daily filling up my old water container from my college days at Lynchburg College.

Warmer days means healthy fresh snacks like these grapes ready to eat for myself and my son!

This light/healthy dinner is new for me to try out which I got it on sale/coupon at my local Kroger!! I like the "Cherry Port Pork" because of the flavors and its something that I don't normally cook for myself but love to it!! With 15 grams of protein and none of the artificial sugars, additives, plus being "gluten free", I enjoyed this for my lunch!

I love the taste and presentation of this meal but wish the portions were a little bit more or at least more veggies since its a "health conscious" meal more than the "1 cup" serving but I think the makers presume you are one of those portion control diets!!

For my Crohn's health journey, I went to UVA Medical Center at the end of March for my annual endoscopy of my intestines. My Mom and my GI Doctor was happy to share good news with my "dazed" self  that everything looked "Great" and will follow up in July. My Mom drove us home and I relaxed reading my fave beauty magazines w/ Chrissy Teigen and Victoria Beckham, both powerful ladies and moms/mums on the front covers!

I still do my Humira shots twice a month to help maintain my remission from Crohn's Disease and inflammation!

I was able to get this sweet deal at local TJMaxx for these "unscented" Dead Sea Salt soak by AHAVA which I used for my foot soak/pedicure! My feet felt fresh and relaxed afterwards!!

Well that is my wellness summary for this April and check back here for my May Wellness Summary!

Until next time...

  1. I'm so sorry to hear you suffer from Chrones. My friend at work also has it and she can be so very ill sometimes. I suffer from chronic IBS, but I don't have any of the sickness that you do. It's great that you've been finding stuff to help you cope with it. I'm going to suggest this to my friend xx
